Dr. Kate is a graduate of Kansas State University and has had a lifelong passion for animals, physiology and biology and enjoys the fact that veterinary medicine combines all of these interests and allows her to make a difference in the lives of her clients and their beloved pets every single day.
Dr. Kate is Fear Free Certified and has a Certification in Public Health with emphasis in infectious and zoonotic diseases. She also has special interest in regenerative therapies, endoscopy and diagnostic imaging.
In her down time, Dr. Kate enjoys spending time with her fiancé and their two 4-year-old dogs – a Golden Retriever named Maya and a Yellow Lab named Gracie. They love hiking, kayaking, fly fishing and camping – basically anything that gets them outdoors!
Dr. Kate’s approach to medicine is to promote the health and well-being of her patients while fostering the human-animal bond between and their human caretakers. “I strongly believe in centering the practice of veterinary medicine around open communication with clients to lay a path toward our shared goals.”
